Arboreal Salamander
A ray of light illuminates the dark forest floor.
The Arboreal Salamander blends in easily with its dark, damp habitat.
Very shy, it slowly slipped into a tunnel beneath a log.
Lung less, the Arboreal Salamander respirates entirely through its skin.
This large, 5" male is typical of the species. Fragile, avoid handling.
"Earth Stars" often go unnoticed amid the leaf litter.
A spotted Banana Slug slides over a carpet of rotting leaves.
